What is Telemedicine?
Telemedicine allows health care professionals to evaluate, diagnose and treat patients at a distance using telecommunications technology. The approach has been through a striking evolution in the last decade and it is becoming an increasingly important part of the American healthcare infrastructure.
RMS provides telepsychiatry services that allows you the convenience of having an office visit with Dr. Ken Richmond, MD, FAPA. You will have the ability to be assessed by a Top Doc who can treat and work with you from across the United States of America.
Dr. Ken has a belief that mental health services must evolve to meet the needs of the patients who desperately need a mental health professional. Dr. Ken’s approach to managing your mental health is by first getting a good understanding of your reason for seeking treatment and working together to develop your treatment plan.
Through a virtual appointment, you can:
- Get a psychiatric evaluation
- Establish care as a new patient
- Receive follow-up care and management
- Obtain prescriptions (if appropriate)
